Unassuming - Established - Trustworthy. The popular choice for general charge applications. Charge results are reliable if charger and battery type (Gel-, Wet-, AGM- or Calcium) match, in chemistry, size and discharge patterns.

The TriTask-150AS: the current-selector-switch allows matching the charge current with battery capacity. Setting the switch to the 3A value will correctly charge batteries half the capacity the 6A current is intended for.

The TriTask-150: with fixed charge current, with battery capacity 20Ah to 65Ah.

3-step charging: 'Stage 1' bulk-charges with constant current, in tandem with the gradually increasing charge voltage, up to 80% of battery capacity. At this point charging transfers to 'Stage 2', with the charge voltage levelling out flat, causing the current to steadily decline over a fixed length of time. The charging process, now changing to 'Stage 3', float- or trickle charges permanently connected batteries with a small enough current to ensure the user of reliable back-up power. Power failures will always trigger a fresh charge cycle upon every mains return.

Default charge parameters settings are to achieve safe charge results for most of the popular battery types. Being the manufacturer, MEC can always custom configure the charger for the type of battery, absorption time or other.
