Batteries - Bloated, Deformed? It is Aging Batteries, killed by unqualified charging. Charge termination (or transfer to float charging) by popular Current Detection only does not work with aging batteries. Can conventional 3-step chargers do better? They can - if charge parameters match the battery's properties. The AdapTask, being a 3-Step Charger with Adaptive Charge Characteristic takes complexity out of charging: auto-adjusting to prevailing battery properties, it always correctly charges:

• Aging Batteries
• Gel,-Wet,- Agm- and Calcium Battery, selectable
• When frequent mains failure and power sags are an issue
• When batteries greatly outsize the charger’s rated charge current

Mobile Homes, Caravans and Boats replenish their drained battery banks by connecting to AC-Mains or Shore Power. When in 'Camping-Mode' and when connecting to AC-Mains, the AdapTask always starts up in 'Charge Mode', filling the batteries to capacity with it's maximum power capability.

Once the battery is full the charger automatically turns into a 'Power Supply. Battery-drain by excessive, heavy loading is now instantly replenished, not in excess of 14VDC (with 12V-Batteries).The AdapTask stays in PS-Mode as long as it remains on AC-Mains, being the Camper's source of stationary DC-Power.
