NOVA-300CM: Li-Ion and Li-FePO4 Charge Program. Anyone of both chemistries can be be subjected to either the Nominal- or Hot-Charge Mode, with the latter program utilizing the battery's idle cool-down time (after a heavy-duty discharge), to faster arrive at the next 'Battery Full'.
NOVA-300CS: Dedicated Charge Program for a Single Application. Precisely tailored to the battery's chemistry and characteristics. The charger monitors it's State-of-Charge (SoC), subjecting it to the correct charge regimen. Custom-configurable, by the factory or the authorized distributor.
When the BS is to govern the charge regimen: communication methods range from the single- to the two-wire system, or to the System Management Bus (SMBus). MEC's chargers can be adapted to the type of bus the battery's BMS requires.
